I was recently asked to write a post for Flat Earth Theatre’s blog as they gear up for their next production, Tales of a Fourth Grade Lesbo. I was asked to write about a formative memory from my childhood around gender identity and sexuality. And I am grateful for my fellow theater colleagues at Flat Earth for allowing me this opportunity. Since we are now focusing on our new theater adventure, The Pineapple Project, a thirty minute show for kids that celebrates their creative freedom to be who they are, the chance to write on this topic, was very timely. I love when that happens!
